Family & class preview guide

Guidance for approved adults testing FableFlight with fictional accounts and stories.

Try the journey with fictional learners

Only approved adults may use this preview. Use fictional learner names, birth information and writing. Real children and schools are not enabled. A working test flow is not proof of production age verification, school approval or legal readiness.

Your group’s public sign-in page

An authorized adult can manage a group’s human-readable sign-in URL and background image. The page is public, so avoid real names, school identifiers, faces and contact details in the name or image. Learners use a username unique within their group and do not need an email address.

Give a fictional learner the correct group link and test password. A username from another group does not identify the same account. Keep adult credentials separate. Open group management (adult sign-in required).

What supervision allows

Authorized supervisors can read ordinary group stories when their role permits it. Owning a page or paying for a plan alone does not grant supervision. Private-writing and independent-account paths remain restricted to specifically authorized fictional tests; they are not available for real learner activation.

Trash is recoverable storage, not private hiding or permanent deletion. It does not remove permitted supervision. Adult and learner sessions are separate: sign out of both if you used both on a shared device.

Shared story allowances

The Family plan shares 300 active stories across the parent and learners. For the fictional school preview, each class shares 300 active stories across its students. Adding learners does not multiply the class allowance. Institutional pricing remains undecided.

When capacity is full, keep the draft open or download it, move an unwanted story to Trash if permitted, then retry the save. Restoring a story also needs available capacity. Saving and recovery help.

If access or saving fails

Keep unsaved writing safe first. Check the group link and username; ask the adult managing the fictional group to help with the group password. Do not share an adult password or authenticator code. Independent-account recovery uses its separate recovery codes, not a group password reset.

Report unexpected access to the project owner through the existing testing task without copying private stories into the report. Reporting instructions · Account and privacy requests.
